A plain note before we begin
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They serve various purposes โ from keeping a site functional to helping operators understand how it is used. We have tried to keep our use of cookies limited and proportionate. You can read the detail below, or skip to Managing Your Preferences if you prefer.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They allow a website to remember certain information about your visit โ for example, your language preference or whether you have previously accepted the site's cookies notice.
Cookies may be set either by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services that the website uses, such as analytics or advertising platforms ("third-party cookies"). They may persist only for the duration of your browser session ("session cookies") or remain on your device for a set period after the session ends ("persistent cookies").
2. How We Use Cookies
The Plum Blossom website uses cookies in the following categories:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function. They do not collect information that could be used to identify or track you for marketing purposes, and they cannot be switched off in our systems. They are typically set only in response to actions you take, such as setting your cookie preferences.

3. Third-Party Services
Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services we use to measure the reach of our courses. These third parties โ including Google and Meta โ process information in accordance with their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:
We also embed a Google Map on our homepage to help visitors find our Wan Chai office. Google Maps may set its own cookies when the map is loaded. If you prefer not to receive these, you can use the address details provided to navigate using your own mapping application.
4. Managing Your Preferences
When you first visit our website, a notice will appear giving you the option to accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice will be stored for twelve months. You can change your preference at any time using either of the following methods:
- On our website: Scroll to the bottom of any page and select "Cookie Settings" to adjust your preferences.
- In your browser: Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings menus. This will apply to all sites you visit, not just ours.
Please be aware that disabling certain analytics or marketing cookies does not affect your ability to use our website or enrol in our courses โ it only limits our ability to understand traffic patterns and measure advertising reach.
Instructions for managing cookies in commonly used browsers:
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals websites not to track user activity. There is currently no agreed industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, and our website does not alter its behaviour in response to them. You can manage your cookie preferences directly using the methods described in Section 4.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time โ for example, if we add new third-party services or adjust how we use tracking technologies. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If changes are material โ meaning they significantly affect the types of cookies set or the purposes for which they are used โ we will display a refreshed consent notice inviting you to review and reconfirm your preferences.
